Khastner Fanged of Mount Descend/SayoteBoiz bagged the highest podium finish for all riders coming from the Cordillera when he placed second in the 19-under category in the 7th Bataan Enduro Mountain bike race recently.

Jason Herbolario representing Mount/Baguio placed third in the 50 and above category while Thomas Dean Bendaen Baday of SayoteBoiz placed fifth in the 20 to 29 group.

Rounding up the top 10 in their respective categories were Aky Nolasco, sixth, and Nuy Caingcoy, eighth in the open/elite category, both from Team BehindBarsBikeshop Baguio/Marin Bikes Philippines.

In the 40 to 49 category, Jay Camero of Ulrich BFC team placed eighth, but the highlight of all top 10 finishes was Marky Trinidad of BehindBarsBikeshop Baguio who placed 10th despite racing without a chain in stages two and three due to a mechanical failure.

Not to be outdone on the special categories, Mark Dogyang of Team U.l.a.w/Ridge placed 10th in the hardtail category.

Mead Nathaniel Dulay of F1 Cycles placed seventh in the downhill category.

Sean Sacgaca of SayoteBoiz/Mount Descend placed eighth, as John Michael Chiday of SayoteBoiz completed the top 10 with his 10th place finish.

A total of 40 riders from Baguio, Benguet, and Mountain Province joined the highly-technical event that drew a total of 423 riders from all parts of the country.

Found in the slopes of the historical Mt. Samat, where the Memorial Cross is located, the enduro tracks is home to the organizing team, B.E.E.R. or Bataan Enduro Elite Riders.
