Kapangan, Benguet mixed martial arts pride Jeremy Pacatiw will again banner the country’s flag when he faces a Jordanian opponent in Brave Combat Federation 29 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Nov. 15.

The 23-year-old Pacatiw, the only Filipino with the most number of appearances in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion with eight, wants to make his presence felt anew in the bantamweight division.

He is scheduled to collide inside the stage with Ali Qaisi of Jordan, who also has the height and reach advantage.

Qaisi, who holds a professional MMA fight record of seven wins and three losses, has nailed four consecutive wins since 2017.

Pacatiw’s last appearance in Brave was in March where he submitted via arm bar fellow Filipino fighter Mark Alcoba in the third round to improve his MMA record to nine wins and three losses.

Another Team Lakay fighter, Edward Kelly, is also set to make his 15th appearance in ONE Championship in Beijing, China, Nov. 16.

Kelly, 35, will face Kai Tang of China in the featherweight division.

Kelly wants to prove he remains a force to reckon with in the division, having nailed seven victories in ONE Championship promotion.

The Igorot fighter was defeated by Chinese Xie Bin in August via unanimous decision.

His opponent, Kai, had an impressive ONE debut in January when he knocked out Korean Sung Jong Lee with a head kick.

The Chinese fighter has eight wins and two losses.
