Pugad wins Int’l Tenpin Bowling Open 2019 crown

Pugo Adventure represented by a Baguio bowler and teammates emerged as a team champion in the Corporate Cup of the Philippine International Open 2019 Tenpin Bowling Championships in Mandaluyong, recently.

Baguio bowler Peter Go and teammates Lara Posadas-Wong, Scott Uy, and Marc Matias of the Philippine Bowling Team garnered an aggregate score of 2,383 beating more than 30 other teams in the national competition.

CSS Image Design placed second. Go’s son, Nikko; Chester King; Julius Sy; and Ian Dychangco comprise the team.

In third place is Sunfreight Express Corp. composed of LA Lara, Angel Dilig, Jules Pedrajas, and Allan Villanueva.

Completing the top five teams were PBA composed of Patrick Nuqui, John Tiongson, Neil Nuqui, Mighty Ramiro, and PSB1 composed of Francis Manalaysay, Mon Camba, Joy Uy, and Steve Robles.

Philippine Olympic Committee president Ricky Vargas graced the opening rites of the event organized by the Philippine Bowling Federation.

He hailed the participants especially the members of the Philippine Bowling Team for bringing honor and pride to the country.

The tournament is sanctioned by the Asian Bowling Fede-ration, World Bowling, POC, and the Philippine Sports Commission.
