Cadiogan tops BCC golf tilt

Young businessman Aaron Cadiogan topped the Baguio Country Club monthly tournament on weekend with 54.4 Peoria points for the overall champion trophy.

The 32-year-old Cadiogan who is just nearly in his two years as a golf enthusiast had a gross score of 80 at the 61-par BCC fairways but was lucky to have scored well in six selected holes where he got a 25.5 handicap for a net score of 54.4.

Franco Aoyong fired a gross of 70 with a handicap of 13.6 for a net of 64.4 to win as the member class A champion followed by Jaime De los Santos with a net of 67.8 while Ely Lagman placed third with a net of 68.4.

Lagman won the most accurate drive with “on the line” at the par-4 hole eight.

Jun Tabanda had a net of 56.6 to rule the member class B followed by Jeff Acop and Ed Basbas, who had 58.6 and 59.6 nets, respectively.

Nida Whybrow had a net of 61.8 to win the member ladies A followed by Beth Patterson with a net of 70.2 while Mel Donato won the member ladies B with a net of 55.2 followed by Letty Baquilar with 64.6 net and Rose Silverman with 78.2 net.

Frank Ram had a net of 59.8 to win this month’s guest men’s A followed by Pat Eswag and Fred Sab-it with 60.2 and 60.8 nets, respectively.

The guest men’s B champion’s trophy went to Cesar Valencia who had a net of 58.4 followed by Bert Talco and Nachor Baucas with 60.6 and 60.8 nets, respectively.

Sharon De Leon topped the guest ladies division with a net of 65.4 followed by Epi Geston and Dee Parker with 70 and 70.2 nets, respectively.

Edwin Ganga won the longest drive by reaching 280 yards at the par-4 hole three while Ceasar Valencia got the nearest to the pin with just seven feet at the par-3 hole one.
