Siblings Jerry and Jenelyn Olsim of Tribal-Torogi and Lito Adiwang of Team Lakay emerged victorious in the season 3 finale of Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series in Singapore on Oct. 11.

Jerry Olsim kept his unblemished mixed martial arts record intact with four wins when he knocked out Ernest Tang (3-2) of Hong Kong with a straight right to the jaw that sent his opponent to the mat in round one of their featherweight match.

His sister, Jenelyn, won via decision against Claudi a Diaz of Tiger Muay Thai when their strawweight bout went the distance.

Olsim, who has three wins and one loss, dismayed Diaz in her pro MMA debut with punches, knees, front kicks, and spinning backfists in the third and final round.

The female bout also started hot with Olsim attempting an armbar then a gogoplata and a leglock submission, which was defended well by Diaz.

Olsim was one of the ONE Warrior bonus awardees after the fight.

Lakay’s Adiwang proved that the hype is real when he knocked out Manuel Huerta with a solid and well-timed uppercut that sent his opponent flying through the air before the Igorot fighter unleashed hammer fists, forcing the referee to stop the bout.

Adiwang, who has seven wins and two losses as a pro MMA fighter, also displayed superior standing fight skills that prevented his opponent from closing in and landing solid blows.

Adiwang, who opted to revive his MMA career after serving as a trainer overseas, was awarded the “KO of the Night” and a ONE Warrior bonus.

The fourth Filipino warrior to score a sensational stoppage was veteran Mark Abelardo, 17-5, who won against Shine Zoltsetseg via first round technical knockout.

Tribal-Torogi’s Mark Sumalag and Ismael Bandiwan were not successful this time after both fighters were submitted via triangle and arm bar.
