WORLD CHAMPIONS -- ONE interim flyweight champion Geje Eustaquio and Brave Combat Federation bantamweight champion Stephen Loman joined Team Lakay coach Mark Sangiao and other fighters during the street dancing parade of Panagbenga. The fighters have brought honor and glory for Baguio and the country in the global stage. -- Harley Palangchao

It might take time before Team LakayGeje Eustaquio, the interim ONE flyweight world champion, will unify the belt against reigning champion Adriano Moraes.

This is after the scheduled fight between Moraes and challenger, Filipino-Australian fighter Recee McLaren has been cancelled after the champion suffered an injury.

The winner between Moraes and McLaren was supposed to be challenged by Eustaquio for a unification title bout.

With Moraes out, McLaren will face Malaysia’s Gianni Subba for the main event of ONE:Visions of Victory set at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

From the bantamweight rank, McLaren moved to the flyweight division since losing to Team Lakay Kevin Belingon via knockout in round one in August 2017.

The Fil-Aussie fighter sports a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu with a record of 270-28-0. In the cage, he owns a professional record of 10-5.

In his last outing, he submitted Anatpong Bunrad via brabo choke in their flyweight bout in November 2017.

Meanwhile, Team Lakay flyweight contender Danny Kingad is also set to fight a last minute replacement for Subba in his first out of country fight since joining ONE several years ago.

ONE announced that Kingad will face Sotir Kichukov of Bulgaria.

Kingad is a regional wushu champion with a wushu record of 29-1 and a martial artist with a professional record of 8-1. A true warrior from Baguio and one of the top prospects to come out of the country, Kingad is a tremendous striker who possesses well-rounded grappling skills.

Kikuchov has a pro record of 13 wins and seven losses compiled from different MMA promotion including ONE Championship.
