NIA photography tilt accepts entries
by Press release

The National Irrigation Administration is inviting professional and amateur photographers to submit photos and join in the 2nd NIA photography competition.

The competition, themed “Kalikasan at patubig,” is a nationwide activity and has two categories-conventional and mobile. This conventional category includes photos taken using all types of traditional or conventional cameras like single lens reflex (SLR) or digital SLR, and compact cameras while mobile involves photos taken using apps in all types of mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. Anyone can join the Conventional Category, while only NIA employees nationwide can join the Mobile Category.

Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of two entries only, which should have been taken anywhere from January 2015 to March 2018. The entry to be submitted should be an image/photo with a corresponding photo title and caption. The caption must indicate the place where the image was taken, and must have an accurate description of what the photo is about.

NIA will accept entries until March 18 at noon only.

The winners for both the conventional and mobile categories will receive P15,000 each, while special prizes of P5,000 each will be given to winners of Most Popular Photo and Most Gender Sensitive Photo.

For more information, interested participants may visit NIA-CAR or NIA/NIA-CAR Facebook pages and download the complete guidelines of the competition.
