Solution to gridlocks in the Summer Capital
NOEL C. MALLARI, Baguio City

As citizens of Baguio, are we going to allow repetitive carmaggedons, tons of trash, and monstrous traffic every there is a long weekend and holidays in the city?

There are many solutions but we need to sacrifice. All businesses, especially restaurants and hotels in Baguio, are earning a huge amount of money during this season. Bus companies that ferry passengers to Baguio should inform their passengers that they will pay a price if they are caught littering.

All entrances leading to Baguio should have a big billboard that states littering is prohibited; that all tourists should avail of public transportation or walk; that government should  consider barring private cars on the roads, except public utility vehicles so that there will be no traffic congestion and tourists will enjoy their stay while our local transport operators and drivers will also earn during holidays.
