Petron Corporation will be featuring a painting exhibition of selected works of Vision Petron winners, namely Orley Ypon, Robert Besana, Mark Andy Garcia, CJ de Silva, Raffy Napay, and the late Romeo Forbes Jr.

The collection highlights their emerging styles, individual methods of self-expression, and search for identity.

Vision Petron is a 17-year old annual art contest specifically directed at Filipino college students aged 16 to 28. A theme revolving around Filipiniana topics is introduced annually as part of the company’s advocacy for the youth to rediscover Philippine arts and culture, traditions and skills.

A panel of esteemed judges from Philippine art and culture communities evaluate entries to the contest’s five categories (painting, photography, T-shirt art design, video-making and music).

Winning artworks are featured in the Petron wall and desk calendar, planners, and T-shirts.

The exhibition called “Fuel Creativity” will be on view from Oct. 14 to Nov. 26 at BenCab Museum’s Gallery Indigo.
