Kalinga PNP conducts outreach in schools
by PIA–Kalinga

TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Personnel of the Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force Company (KPMFC) are conducting heightened information, education, and communication about the unit’s programs as part of its outreach program.

C/Insp. Joseph Adornado Santos, KPMFC commander, said his officers are visiting elementary and secondary schools orienting the students on anti-insurgency, illegal drugs, bullying, crime prevention, and disaster preparedness.

They also distribute IEC materials and food to residents in remote schools during barangay assemblies.

The unit also participates in medical and dental missions, a convergence program with other law enforcement commands, the military, and the local government units.

Recently, blood donors from KPMFC participated in a blood-letting activity spearheaded by a radio network in cooperation with the city government.

This December, they plan to conduct the “Blessing ko, share ko,” their best practice with the Company Advisory Council.
