by PIA–Kalinga

TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Department of Science and Technology approved four additional livelihood assistance projects for micro-enterprises in the province this year.

Leizle Isaguirre of DOST said the P200,000 assistance for the Alvendo Food Products  and P900,000 for the Caesar’s Welding Shop were released last month.

This month, P300,000 will be awarded to the Ed-Ed Highland Flavor and P200,000 for the Arboleda Food Products.

The project proposal of the Adesta Hollow Blocks amounting to P400,000 is being evaluated.

The DOST released last June P3 million for the upgrading of facilities of three local manufacturers to enable them to engage in mass production of their products.
