LAGAWE, Ifugao – A P10.5 million-worth building for the Ifugao Police Provincial Office will be constructed  at Camp Joaquin Dunuan, Poblacion North.

The groundbreaking ceremony last week was attended by local and police officials with Director General Francisco A. Uyami, Jr., deputy chief for Administration, as guest of honor.

Uyami, who hails from Ifugao, is instrumental in the appropriation of the amount needed for the construction of the standard administration building that will serve as an auspicious working place for the police to contribute to effective and efficient delivery of services to the people.

In his message, Uyami stressed the strict implementation of security protocols inside the camp.

“This headquarter is a symbol of authority of the government. Let us not lower our guard and be pro-active not to be deceived by enemies of the state,” he said.

Uyami also congratulated the Ifugao police personnel and the community for working hand in hand for a peaceful place as he enjoined police personnel to aim higher and expand the reach of experience for the benefit of service.

IPPO Director Constancio Chinayog, Jr.  said  the dream of PNP-Ifugao to have a standard provincial office building is finally  becoming a  reality.

Upgrading of physical facilities is in line with the Philippine National Police Patrol Plan 2030 roadmap towards attaining a highly capable, effective and credible police service.
