500 people benefit from medical–dental mission
by Press release

Around 500 individuals benefitted from the medical and dental mission conducted by SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI).

Dubbed “Gamot para sa kapwa,” the community-oriented healthcare event served underprivileged families from the different target barangays in Baguio City on May 31 at the Event Center of SM City Baguio.

SM Foundation offered free chest X-ray, ECG, blood sugar screening, blood pressure monitoring, medical consultation, dental services, and free medicines to patients in cooperation with the City Health Services Office, Department of Social Welfare and Development, 911 On Call, Philippine Military Academy, Department of Health, Watsons, Kapwa Ko,  Mahal Ko Foundation,  and the city government of Baguio.

SM Foundation provides free health services such as medical consultations, basic laboratory tests and dental check-ups to communities through its medical missions.

It also dispenses complete dosages of medicines to its patients.

Laboratory examinations such as fasting blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, ECG and X-ray were offered and conducted upon doctor’s advice.

The mission is part of the SM Foundation’s commitment to serve by supporting and empowering host communities.

The project is being held by SMFI in its branches nationwide.
