2nd CSC exams this year set Aug 4
by Amielle Pamo

The Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for this year’s second batch of Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Sub-professional levels on Aug. 4.

The application period started last May 6 and ends June 5. It will be on a first come, first served basis, according to the CSC. Applications will no longer be accepted once the regional or field office reached the target number of applicants.

Submission of requirements is on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CSC Office, 116 Wagner Road, Military Cut-off, Baguio City.

Applicants must be Filipino citizens, at least 18 years old on the date of filing of application, of good moral character; have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude, or disgraceful or immoral conduct, dishonesty, examination irregularity, drunkenness, or addiction to drugs; have not been dishonorably discharged for military service, or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government, and has not taken the same level of career service examination within three months before the date of examination.

The civil service examination does not oblige any education requirement upon applying.

The testing centers are Baguio City; Bangued, Abra; Luna Apayao; and Lagawe, Ifugao.

Requirements include fully accomplished application letter (CS Form No. 100, revised September 2016), four pieces of identical passport size ID pictures taken within three months prior to filing application with handwritten name tag with signature over printed name, and any identification cards with ID picture, and P500 examination fee.
