Three individuals, including one of those in the target list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, were arrested during anti-illegal drugs operations in Baguio last week.

The Baguio City Police Office also reported the arrest of six more individuals during the implementation of warrants of arrest for various criminal offenses.

BCPO Director, S/Supt. Ramil Saculles, reported that suspect Jerico John A. Tuazon, 23, who is in the target list of PDEA, was arrested together with his 26-year-old girlfriend at Dominican-Mirador Hill on Oct. 4 during a search warrant operation.

Composite police and anti-narcotics operatives led by C/Insps. Nicomedes Olarte III and Eddie Bagto confiscated three sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia.

Two days earlier, BCPO operatives led by Olarte and C/Insp. Mario Evasco also arrested Martin B. Sanchez for allegedly selling a sachet of shabu to a Drug Enforcement Unit operative who posted as a poseur buyer inside a lodge at Magsaysay Ave.

Seized from the suspect were five plastic sachets of suspected shabu and the boodle money used in the buy-bust.

All three suspects were subjected to drug test while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are being prepared for filing against them.
