Baguio solon reports feats
by Rimaliza A. Opiña

Ahead of the President’s State of the Nation Address, Baguio Rep. Mark Go has reported the gains and other accomplishments of his office in his first year in office.

Go delivered his accomplishment report in last Monday’s flag-raising ceremony and uploaded in the solon’s official Facebook page.

Although rarely seen in Baguio, Go had a perfect attendance in all plenary sessions of Congress.

He authored 49 bills and resolutions; two in fact, have been passed into law. Four other bills are up for third and final reading, and eight bills have been approved at the committee level.

After approval at the committee level, this shall undergo the three stages in the passage of laws.

Go, who is a member of 15 committees in Congress, is also a co-author of 46 bills and resolutions.

The congressman said much still has to done and vowed that in the next two years of his term, he will continue to deliver good services to the Baguio constituents.

“With integrity, excellence and a dedicated heart for service, we will work for the thoughtful preservation and continuous development of our city and country. Let’s continuously work hand in hand,” he said in his FB account.
