DA holds 6th carabao confab
by Press release

The Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) held its 6th National Carabao Conference (NCC) with the theme, “Pag-asa Karbawan: Lahat aahon, susulong, aasenso” on Nov. 12 in a virtual setting.

This year’s NCC joined the growing list of agriculture events moving to an online platform amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

The participants of the learning event were provided with insights on DA-PCC’s efforts and initiatives to promote the carabao industry; DA-PCC’s partnerships with the local government units in Carabao Development Program (CDP) implementation; and government-funded activities through Alpas-Covid-19 interventions, Accelerating Livelihood and Assets Buildup Karbawan projects (Carabao-based Business Improvement Network and Coconut-Carabao Development Project), school-based Milk Feeding Program, and Loan Program for Carapreneurs.

Speakers presented live, virtual presentations that gave the participants the opportunity to interact, while others were shown as pre-recorded presentations.
