PDEA arrests 5 suspects
by PDEA release

Anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera nabbed five suspected dealers in separate operations last week.

On Nov. 29, PDEA agents arrested along Regidor Street, Pacdal Joshua Aluyen Alsisto alias Pidot, 24 years old, a resident of Lower Malvar, Trancoville, and Jan Michael de Guzman Kenneth alias JM de Guzman, 31 years old, a resident of Badihoy Street, Ferguson Road.

The two were cuffed for selling a heat sealed sachet containing suspected shabu to an undercover PDEA agent.

The suspects yielded the buy-bust money, a weighing scale and two mobile phones upon their arrest.

On Nov. 28, two young drug dealers were also arrested in a sting operation along Happy Glenn Loop, Barangay Salud Mitra.

Those arrested were Jhaniel Dale Foronda, 25 years old, former drug surrenderer and Rodolf John Carandang alias Rj, 22 years old. They were nabbed for selling two big sachets of marijuana stalks to an undercover PDEA agent.

On Nov. 27, a vegetable porter was arrested in a sting operation by combined anti-narcotics agents from PDEA-CAR and Region 1 at Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Milo Dayao Fernando alias Pangkis, 45 years old, native of San Isidro, Nueva Ecija and currently residing at Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet was collared when he sold 17 heat sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu to an undercover PDEA agent.

Upon his arrest, Fernando yielded the buy-bust money worth P6,000 and a mobile phone.

The suspect is one of the suppliers of illegal drugs to drug users at the La Trinidad trading post.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
